SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT

In addition to compliance with the environmental laws and regulations applicable to their business, suppliers of ULG shall conduct their operations in accordance with the below set of principles related to sustainability and the upholding of ethical and social standards across the supply chain. ULG pledge to work in collaboration with suppliers to consider ways in which sustainability can continue to be prioritised.

Ethical Business Practices

  • Compliance with Laws: Suppliers must comply with all relevant laws and regulations applicable to their business operations, including labour, environmental, and safety standards.

  • Anti-Corruption: Suppliers must not engage in any form of bribery, corruption, or unethical practices. Gifts and hospitality must be transparent, modest, and in compliance with local laws.

  • Fair Competition: Suppliers should compete fairly and honestly in the market, without engaging in anti-competitive behaviour or unfair trade practices.

Environmental Stewardship

  • Sustainable Sourcing: Suppliers should prioritise sustainable sourcing of ingredients, materials, and packaging to minimise negative environmental effects.

  • Resource Efficiency: Suppliers should work to minimise waste, conserve energy, and reduce water consumption in their operations.

  • Compliance with Regulations: Suppliers must comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards.

  • Transport: the supplier should consider ways to minimise their transport related emissions and should explore ways to reduce unnecessary trips.

  • Energy efficiency: The supplier shall proactively prioritise renewable energy where possible and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. The supplier should also explore carbon-reduction solutions to minimise energy consumption.

Transparency and Reporting

We value transparency and expect our suppliers to:

  • Provide accurate and timely information about their operations, practices, and policies when requested.

  • Participate in audits and assessments as necessary to ensure compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct.

This Supplier Code of Conduct will be reviewed annually. Non-compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct may result in the re-evaluation of our supplier relationship
